When installed, the Password Reset app allows users to reset their account’s password through the login screen. The following guide is designed to give users a step-by-step guide on resetting their Incident IQ passwords when the Password Reset App is installed.
Using the Password Reset Feature
When resetting your password, begin by clicking on the Forgot Password button located near the bottom of the page.
This will take you to the Password Reset page. From here you’ll be asked to enter your email account into the search bar.
Once your email address has been verified, you can now select your password recovery method.
Note: The reset methods available to you is determined by district administrators. The options pictured below may or may not appear to you for selection.
Alternatively, you can instead submit a password reset request ticket on this page. If that’s the case, you can do so by clicking the Contact Technical Support button on the Password Reset page.
You will now need to enter a brief description. Once complete, click on Submit Help Ticket.
Once submitted, you will see a confirmation message appear. This will also include your Incident IQ ticket number for reference purposes.
