Introduction
iiQ Assets builds upon the already robust features available in the base version of Incident IQ to give districts more options for accessing and managing their asset data. This includes new and improved features for the desktop version, as well as the ability to use the mobile app to quickly and easily access asset information while on the go.

Important Note: iiQ Assets also includes the option to install Rollout Scout, Incident IQ’s advanced storage and deployment app, at no additional cost.
Rapid Scan
One of the key utility enhancements introduced in iiQ Assets is the Rapid Scan feature. This allows agents to quickly access asset information from anywhere in Incident IQ simply by using a barcode scanner. On any page, if you scan an asset tag or serial number the Quick Actions pop-up window will appear.
In this window, you’ll be presented with general asset information as well as the options to:
- Go to the asset’s details page using View Asset
- Edit Asset information
- Assign asset ownership using Check In/Out
- Use the Submit Ticket button to generate a new ticket for this specific asset
- See the ticket history of this asset with View Tickets
- Audit an asset using Verify
Additionally, the rapid scan feature is usable from any Incident IQ page. This makes looking up assets quick and easy.
Asset Auditing
The Audit Manager is available to all districts that have purchased iiQ Assets. This feature allows you to set up and manage any number of policies to formalize the audit process. Utilizing filters, these audits can be as broad or as narrow as needed. In addition, each audit policy operates independently of one another, allowing your district to run multiple audits at once.
Audits also include powerful reporting tools. This includes new fields for pulling audit reports from the system as well as visual statistics breaking down the current overall verification status of all the devices covered under an audit policy.
Administrators and agents can access the Audit Manager by selecting Assets > Audit Manager on the left navigation bar. Please refer to our comprehensive help guide for Audit Manager.
